I was one of eighteen musical artists who wrote and recorded the song “Always a Home (At Christmas)”. The song raises awareness of homelessness; all in aid of Liverpool’s Whitechapel Centre.
The song “Always a Home (At Christmas)” by Sam Leyden and Primal Live is one of the Official Contenders for the Number One single for Christmas 2024 in the UK.

Recording took place at SAE Liverpool in November 2024, and the single was released in time to be an official contender for Christmas Number One!

The song came out of the Primal Live charity event in Liverpool in October 2024. It was featured in a documentary by the BBC on North West Tonight, its local news and current affairs programme.
Some of the musical artists who took part in the recording of the song had either experienced homelessness themselves or had been helped by The Whitechapel Centre.
