Mistrust releases new single on Bandcamp, taken from his lastest album!

I’m UK musician Tim Blackburn, who records under the name “Mistrust”. I have a new single called “Sunlight” out on Monday 5th of June, 2023 on Bandcamp:

It’s very much an 80s synth pop inspired song…The song opens with the sound of an ethereal church choir, which has been compared to Pachelbel’s “Canon in D”. It then turns dramatically in a mix of OMD’s catchy melodies, Pet Shop Boys’ dramatics, and my own deadpan, almost spoken, vocals!

It’s out on the 19th June on Spotify etc. The song is the title track from my latest album released last month, and was written about and inspired by my visits to the historic workers’ village of Port Sunlight.
